The Terroir
The Domaine Les Vignes Saint Vincent
The Domaine Les Vignes Saint Vincent is a family business that has lasted for three generations. In 1988, Michel Delhommeau took over the estate, then comprising 17 hectares.
The history
Domaine Les Vignes Saint Vincent is part of the traditional Nantes vineyard landscape.
Located in Monnières, a charming village of some 2,100 inhabitants nestled in the heart of Muscadet, in the Loire Valley, between the Sèvre and the Maine rivers, which is 20 minutes south of Nantes. Our grapes are produced on a unique terroir: Gneiss and Gabbro.
As we were focused on the future, our estate now counts 25 hectares of vines, since 2008 we were converting to organic production which was achieved in 2013. We have been following the Ecocert specifications in order to affirm our respect for the environment and the working of the terroir.

The team
The Les Vignes Saint Vincent estate now benefits from a versatile team.
Ludovic, with a wealth of experience, has been a crop manager for more than 15 years on the farm.
Nelly, a former winegrower, greatly contributes to the pruning site with a master's hand.
Lucas, a young DNO graduate, joined the estate this year to support Michel in his work.
Organic farming
The production is constantly looking to evolve our technic to the grapes and wine in order to respect our values of today. We continue towards our logical organic approach.
Beyond the environmental aspect and convinced that organic grapes are capable of producing wines of a higher quality than those created using conventional methods, from his work, Michel Delhommeau wishes to create wines from terroirs with a strong identity: expressive, balanced and of incomparable elegance.
